Artistically, the construction of dry stonewalls, made of either fieldstone or ledge rock blends beautifully with the planting design. We believe in making your property look as natural as possible.

Steps and Landings

Steps and landings are built with a concrete footing and concrete block foundations and covered completely with bluestone, limestone or any stone requested by the customer.

Steps created away from the home create a unique blend with the landscape boundary.

Curbs and Driveways

A driveway is another significant part of the landscape design and must be well designed to accommodate both the drive to and from the garage areas well as functional parking necessities with hardscape materials to enhance the total design.

Curbing such as Belgium block keeps the driveway sides from collapsing and becomes a guide when driving to and from the garage. The Belgium block is set in a concrete footing and jointed evenly to perfection.

Sprinkler Systems

A watering system is quintessential to maintain a healthy lawn, shrubs and flower beds. Ninety percent of the grass leaf is water and the biggest problem is to determine the amount of water necessary for all. Who can find the time in the busy lives we lead! Our system is designed to double cover each area getting the best coverage in the shortest amount of time while conserving water. You will get the proper amount of water on the right days of the week either automatically or manually.

Drainage Systems

The most important feature of landscape design is creating a drainage system to divert water away from the home with the use of drainage pipes and grading. The objective is to catch the water before it gets into the house not after, and get it to where it should go. When necessary, other methods are used, such as French drains, seepage pits and storm drains. Antine Landscape and Designs has resolved every water problem in 35 years of installing drainage systems.

There is nothing like the sound of running water cascading down a beautiful waterfall dropping into an all natural pond filled with exotic fish and surrounded with natural field stone creating a calming atmosphere. This coupled in the right location on your property will add another focal point to your design.

Create the beauty and ambience with an outside kitchen area. Choose a free standing cooking unit or a built in model. The standing model is portable and the built in model can be set into a dry stonewall or built with concrete block covered with natural stone. We can create a full kitchen with barbeque, sink and stove and the customer can add whatever appliances they wish.

The outside fireplace is another popular item and focal point to your outside living area and designed for your comfort and enjoyment.

A patio is designed to accommodate another living area and to enjoy your beautiful property. We like to design patios with sitting areas, cooking areas, areas to display your food and drinks all connected with designated traffic areas.

Walkways are key in landscape design. They create focal points to all of your entrances. With the right width and soft curves, this will create an important piece to your design.

Personal Aftercare Program

After completion of the work performed, each customer will receive a maintenance program consisting of instructions for the care of the lawn and shrubs. We can service all your needs throughout the year except weekly lawn maintenance.
